Opportunities exist to support several of our koala research projects that are aimed at enhancing the conservation and management of koalas in Australia.
We are currently seeking financial support to purchase vital field equipment, including cutting-edge GPS trackers and solar-powered koala call recorders to monitor the movement and breeding behaviour of koalas. We also require funds to conduct laboratory analyses on genetic diversity and disease prevalence.
What can KEG offer you in return for your support?
We are extremely grateful for all support of our important koala research. Depending upon the level of support provided, we show our appreciation to supporters in various ways, including:
- Professional presentations at corporate functions (sometimes with a live koala!)
- ‘Hands-on’ involvement in local research field trips
- Acknowledgement of support in publications, media releases & on this website
- Naming rights for individual koalas in our research programs, with updates on their status
- Classroom presentations to students at schools
- Taxation benefits for corporate sponsors
